Assalaimu Alaikum. We, His Majesty Sultan Fuad A. Kiram the First, The Sultan of Sulu & The Sultan of Sabah, Head of Islam & Head of Sultanate, the 35th Reigning Sultan, the Royal Family, the Ruma Bichara, Royal Council, Royal Cabinet, Royal Orders, our Nobles, esteemed Knights, Masters and our beloved Facebook administrators wish all of you and your families happiness and prosperity for the New Year.

As we looked back to last year we are thankful to God Almighty for the many blessings we received.

Our relations with the MNLF remains very strong as MNLF Chairman Datu Nur Misuari stated “our MNLF relations with HM Sultan Fuad I as our Sultan and the MNLF is like our hands interlocked — with two hands clasped together.” It is a Tausug oath that is rarely given but once given; it is an unbroken bond of honor by all Tausugs.

We salute our Facebook leaders and members headed by our stalwart The Rt. Hon. Viscount Hep Martinez, with our Nobles, Knights and Masters, who freely and tenaciously given their solemn commitment and precious time to recover Sabah and Spratlys from Malaysia, for the benefits of the Tausugs, the people of Mindanao and the Filipinos. To all of you we are forever grateful.

We are ever so grateful to The Hon. & H.E. Datuk Katurunan (Sir) Myr Agung Sidayu, Royal Cultural Ambassador to Indonesia and our Royal Deputy Foreign Minister who leads our Royal Sultanate Foreign Ministry in Jakarta and Surabaya, that with his valued unquestioned and Islamic support to the true Sultan — His Majesty Sultan Fuad A. Kiram the First, our noble advocacy to reclaim Sabah and Spratlys is give more success and strength.

We commend to Allah our The Hon. Datuk Katurunan (Sir) Surya Darma Ali, Indonesia Religious Affairs Minister and our The Hon. Datuk Katurunan (Sir) Panji Gumilang, Grand Chancellor of Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School (Indonesia’s biggest Islamic university).

We also commend to Allah to bless all our beloved Knights and their families all over the world and we pray for more success for The Hon. & H.E. Datuk Katurunan (Sir) Henry Muganwa Kajura, Royal Cultural Ambassador to Uganda, and Uganda Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Services; together with The Hon. & H.E. Datuk (Sir) Allan Bamuha, our Royal Cultural Ambassador to Bunyoro Kitara; and to our The Hon. & H.E. Datuk (Sir) Peter Sombooncharoen, Royal Cultural Ambassador to Thailand.

We aim to recover our own properties and it is our FIRST God given reason. SECOND, to right the wrong committed by the Haram Malaysians who unlawfully grabbed our land of Sabah and Spratlys dispossessing the real owners, the Tausugs and Filipinos, and stealing our riches and natural resources worth nearly US$60 billion per year that is siphon off to Kuala Lumpur to prop up its economy against us.

It is the purpose of our groups to educate and enlighten not only our esteemed countrymen, but the world, on the issue of the unquestioned ownership of Sabah and Spratlys by the Sultan of Sulu and the Tausugs of the Royal Sultanate of Sulu, as from 1658 to this day, and the Philippine sovereignty rights and claims on Sabah that were given to Filipinos in 1962.

The Filipinos rights of Sabah ownership were enshrined in the Sabah Sovereignty Transfer from the Royal Sultanate of Sulu to the Republic of the Philippines, on 12 September 1962, which was signed sealed and delivered by our father His Majesty Sultan Muhammad Esmail E. Kiram I (Sultan of Sulu & Sabah 1947 to 1973), Head of Sultanate, and was duly signed by Emmanuel Pelaez concurrent Philippine Vice President and Foreign Affairs Secretary on consent by H.E. President Diosdado Macapagal.

His Majesty Sultan Muhammad Esmail E. Kiram I was our beloved Royal father, and we, being the last son of our father, by Primogeniture, we inherited all his rights, titles, ranks, positions and prerogatives of our father being the last son, thus we are the only anointed, true and legitimate Sultan of Sulu and Sabah.

On being crowned as Sultan, we pronounced these historic words as a Royal Edict as The Sultan of Sulu & The Sultan of Sabah, Head of Sultanate and Head of Islam, the 35th Reigning Sultan of Sulu and Sabah:

“Sabah is not only the land and property of the nine (9) Royal Kiram Family heirs but also of the Tausug people and the Filipinos as well as per Royal Edict of our father HM Sultan Esmail E. Kiram I (Sultan of Sulu and Sabah 1947 to 1973) and contained in the 12 September 1962 Sabah Sovereignty Transfer from the Royal Sultanate of Sulu to the Republic of the Philippines.”

We aim to recover Sabah from the unlawful occupation of Malaysia so that from Sabah’s GDP of over $50 billion a year, we can use such annual GDP for social and economic developments of our people in Sulu and Sabah and for Filipinos, who will distinctly benefit from our free hospitals and free medicines, free education, free housing for the widows, orphans, homeless, aged and infirm, as well as underprivileged and the poor in our midst.

We will also provide for electricity, clean drinking water, sanitation systems, telecommunications, etc., and to foster, create and enhance jobs and industry beneficial to all.

We urge you to support and pursue our Policies of Sabah recovery and Spratlys protection from Malaysia and other nations, and we proceed to enshrine equal respect, understanding, harmony, brotherhood, equality and stability between all races and religions, and of Muslims and Christians, leading to eternal dividends of peace and prosperity for the Tausugs and the Filipinos.

We must also pursue the Sulu and Sabah Genuine Autonomy patterned after Aland Suomi of Finland, that will group and coalesce all the Tausugs of Sulu and Sabah to be one distinct group of people again, with a Sulu and Sabah Autonomous Parliament under the aegis of the Philippines and guaranteed by Philippines, Indonesia, the ASEAN and the United Nations.

We also support the growing clamor of Sabah Independence under our reign and successors as Sabah Reigning Sultan with our Members of Parliament elected by our Sabah people for a 4 year period. This decision will create the atmosphere whereby the Sabah people will become the masters of their own destiny and of their natural wealth and resources worth nearly US$60 Billion a year now being unlawfully taken by Haram Malaysia to prop up its economic developments against the Tausugs and the Filipinos.

As the Reigning Sultan and the last son of our father who transferred the 1962 Sabah Sovereignty thus it followed we are the only one who can determine the sovereignty of Sabah at any time.

We quote Polybius a second century Greek military historian who reminded us that: “In any struggle such as ours, Difficulties are certain. But Difficulties are the name of things that we as leaders must all overcome.”

Therefore, what Polybius stressed is that Difficulties are the name of things that we as band of true and committed comrades-at-arms in the recovery of Sabah and Spratlys from Haram Malaysia, are the Name of things that we must overcome, to succeed.”

Our Vision this New Year is our continued commitment, determination and our bond that we will all continue with our God given struggle to remove Malaysia from Sabah and Spratlys, because it is right and Godly, Islamic and just, and with God on our side we shall prevail and will triumph.

God bless you all and God defend the right. We press on for nothing is ever achieved without some form of struggle, difficulties and hardship, but with the lash of enthusiasm, commitment and motivation in our hearts of hearts, that we are all guided by the side of truth and justice we will prevail. God is with us. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar!
